My life is not very similar to To Kill a Mockingbird. They go through many tough times, and have to fight a bias jury in an important court case. As for me, I have the luxury of not living in the time of world wide depression. I also do go through as many bad events over a few years as the some of the worst things that I suffer from is a lot of homework, which is nothing compared to what other people deal with. There are some similarities I see, and I will try my best to connect them fro you. In Chapter 11, when Jem destroys Mrs. Dubose’s flowers, she gets angry. I think of my mom, when I have friends over, and we may “accidentally” run over her a part of her enormous garden, she gets angry in the same type of way. Also, I can understand Boo’s prospective of the kids running around playing, and being crazy as he looks out the window, since my neighbors have to deal with my neighborhood friends running around at the park near our house, exploring and acting as Scout, Jem, and Dill would. I could make other connections, but those are the only ones that I see as a good connection between the book and my life, even if they are that deep.
